How many HV transmission lines will Togo have to build?
The LCPDP that was financed by TESSIP has identified eight HV transmission lines that Togo will have to develop to reach its 2030 electrification goals. This component will finance the construction of a total of about 262 km of 161 kV transmission lines of which 134 km between Davie-Atakpamé and of 128 km between Lomé and Kpalimé.

GoT has awarded two new Internet Service Providers (ISP) licenses in 2017 and has privatized the incumbent operator Togocom in 2019 (GoT retains a minority stake of 49%). Given the development trends of the broadband market, Togo is on track to doubling broadband penetration by 2021.
